Barry M Silk nail paint swatches.

Hi Everyone !

I've had an awesome amount of nail mail arrive ( with more on the way ) including the Barry M Silk nail paints that came out last month :) I am super into pastel colours at the moment because, hey, it's Spring ( sort of ) So I thought I'd get swatching these asap !

Pictures after the jump !

Here are all of the colours they have released as yet. I'm hoping more colours will surface as I think this finish would look awesome in dark colours.

Initially I was skeptical about how a polish can be matte, yet shimmery, but after the first few coats dried I was instantly impressed with the finish. At first they do go on a little streaky, I'm not sure if it was the way I was doing it or not, but I did start to panic a little that I would be left with bald patches on my nails, but after 3 coats they were fully opaque for me.

This is "Mist" It is a light pastel blue.

This is what it looks like with a top coat.

This is "Truffle" which reminds of a chocolate type brown and it makes me hungry...

This is what it looks like with a top coat.

This one is "Blossom" and it one of my favourites of the lot. It is a light pastel pink.

This is what it looks like with a top coat.

This is "Heather" which is a pinky toned light purple shade.

"Pearl" is a really soft fluffy off white polish that serves as a nice base for stamping onto ( which I will be using in my upcoming blog where I will be going stamp crazy ! )

This is what it looks like with a top coat.

"Meadow" is my absolute favourite of the lot. I am a BIG fan of Teal coloured things, and this doesn't disappoint.

I must admit, I do prefer both "Blossom" & "Heather" with top coats more so than on their own.

So that's my collection. Which one is your favourite?

Until next time !!
