A to Z - N is for New !

Hiya!

Sorry this weeks post is a little later than usual, I had work this weekend, and only managed to start the base coat!

This week's prompt is "New", and I was struggling a little with what I could do for "new" that wasn't your standard design. So I decided to choose "Nouveau" as I am a fan of Alphonse Mucha and his gorgeous works of art.

But I didn't want to do the obvious traditional Art Nouveau....

So a little delayed, but here it is ! My "New" mani.

This mani is inspired by Medusa the Dollmaker and her beautiful art nouveau design "The Gamer" 

I absolutely love all of her designs, but this has to be my absolute favourite, I've even bought a tshirt and poster print of this design!

The base coat is an ombré of Barry M Silk "Orchid" and Barry M Gelly "Mango" and the details are all painted with acrylic paints.

Of course, I had to mattify it as well !! I'm not sure but I think I like it better like this. What do you think ?
